Always love.

There’s a difference between being vulnerable and loving deeply, and giving away your power. In vulnerability, the power is in the one who submits. There’s a lot to be learned from that.

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.

I am what I chose to be.

That’s not necessarily true. Not in my experience of my Spiritual Practice… The universe has set a path for you and the reason to do Yoga: meditation, asana, etc. is to be able to get out of your way and see that path clearly. Our task in life, our life’s purpose is to Realize that and to Follow or live it – not blindly but Enthusiastically!

Can you coax your mind from its wandering
and keep to the original oneness?
Can you let your body become
supple as a newborn child’s?
Can you cleanse your inner vision
until you see nothing but the light?
Can you love people and lead them
without imposing your will?
Can you deal with the most vital matters
by letting events take their course?
Can you step back from your own mind
and thus understand all things?

Giving birth and nourishing,
having without possessing,
acting with no expectations,
leading and not trying to control:
this is the supreme virtue.

We should find perfect existence through imperfect existence. We should find perfection in imperfection. For us, complete perfection is not different from imperfection. The eternal exists because of non-eternal existence. In Buddhism it is a heretical view to expect something outside this world. We do not seek for something besides ourselves. We should find the truth in this world, through our difficulties, through our suffering. This is the basic teaching of Buddhism. Pleasure is not different from difficulty. Good is not different from bad. Bad is good; good is bad. They are two sides of one coin. So enlightenment should be in practice. that is the right understanding of practice, and the right understanding of our life. So to find pleasure in suffering is the only way to accept the truth of transiency. Without realizing how to accept this truth you cannot live in this world. – – Suzuki Roshi Zen Mind, Beginners Mind
